Party like it's 2005...

Well now. That was clearly a successful war waged against the evils of inertia, wasn't it?

Since the last post I have moved thrice, changed states once, and jobs at least twice.

Basically, nothing interesting happened; at least, nothing of interest to anyone but me and my immediate family.

And that's the problem with blogs. Either you have a famous blog that is visited by thousands of people who don't know you, compelling you to embellish about things that interest those thousands, or you have a blog that no one but a few people read, and then your actual activities fail to produce something that inspires your creative flow.

I could write about being a new father, and watching my young son enter the world bit by bit. But hasn't it been done to death?

I could write about being a PhD student, and watching the youth of America fail and succeed in unequal measure before my eyes. But, really, who cares about my thoughts on the matter?

I could write about every little mundane thing that momentarily interests me through the day. Buy would even I read it?

I could have another beer...
